Some Important "GRAFTED IN" News.......
Well..... I found out this past Sunday afternoon that our fabulous fiddle player (Miss Stephanie) got her ring finger on her left hand smashed in the car door last Saturday night. OUCH! Nail is gone, 8 to 10 stitches, and a small fracture of the bone in the very tip of the finger. The good news is that's the only part of the hand or finger that was actually smashed. And..... fortunately she didn't lose that part of the finger :)
So I'm pleased to announce that for our March 11th evening at Swadley's we've secured the incomperable Scott Sanders to sit in on piano. Miss Stephanie will be there singing with Angela..... but she won't be quite ready to fiddle around. Scott has played with us before and we are just really really blessed to know people of his talent level who will sit in with us now and then.
So we look forward to seeing you there on the 11th!!

Fiddle around? Sheesh...sounds like one of our jokes at Swadleys.
But Scott is awesome and Terry will be playing with us again as well, so it will be a really great time. Ya'll come;-)

Ken!!! Welcome to the blogosphere. Very cool. I like the "artsy" dimension of it.
BTW--didn't realize you were a NASCAR fan. We are huge Mark Martin fans (one more year!!!!). We also worked with TXarM--a racing ministry at Texas Motor Speedway. Loved it!!! We would hang out with drunk campers, help them find their motor homes, tell them about Jesus, and bring in bands and speakers. And of course, watch the races on Sat. and Sun.
My son was actually almost born there--I was about 8 1/2 months pregnant for the Texas race in '97, but was determined not to miss it. Interestingly enough, his first sentence was "Uh-oh, da car wecked!!!" (No lie--it was while watching a race on TV.)
Looking forward to hearing more of what you have to say.

Hey Kiki how are you?
Thanks for the welcome. I'm a pretty big Nascar fan. Janice and I went with 2 other couples from our church a couple of years back and drove the cars at Dallas. Well... the guys drove the cars, and our wives worried about us. That was REALLY fun! That fence on the back stretch goes by pretty fast at 150 mph.
I'm glad you found my blog! I'll try to keep it fresh with different pictures and song files etc. when I can.
Talk to you later.
